I have more than 30 years of landscape experience working throughout the UK on projects as simple as a raised vegetable bed, to the complexities of a terrace with balustrading and statues.
I specialise in stonework. However I am skilled in all aspects of landscape design from walling and fencing to planting and water features.
On my first visit to a client, we talk. We get to know each other and I find out what their priorities are in the garden. I appreciate input from my clients, not only at this stage, but throughout the process. The finished garden needs to be exactly what they want. After the initial meeting, I take precise measurements and go away to do a detailed drawing. I usually have an indication of the budget and I focus on enhancing the existing garden and consider the practical side as well as the aesthetic. Often, I am able to use existing materials in the new project.
